Massive air for the final days of spring skiing at Mt. Bachelor with Andrew and Mitchell
Просмотров 4,8 тыс.2 месяца назад
Its the final week of lifts spinning at Mt. Bachelor, and wow has it been fun lately. Andrew and I linked up with Vancouver BC resident Mitchell Karppa showing him around some of our favorite hits. We did a few bowl laps, a west side and a few laps through the park, making the best of a picture perfect spring day!
Not over it yet!! Spring skiing is still happening at Mt. Bachelor with Andrew Orlich

Spring shredding can be some of the funnest skiing. And with one of the longest seasons in NA, Mt. Bachelor is still firing. Andrew and I went up on a Goldilocks of a day, where conditions were a bit all over the map. Sticky in some places, firm in others, and perfect corn if you hunted it down. With the closing day on May 26th there are still some great days to be had. #ski #skiing #springskiing
Windlip Mania at Mt. Bachelor with Jacob Callaghan

Mt Bachelor is know to be compared to a giant snowy skatepark, and its easy to see why. Wind whips the snow into wild terrain that is super fun to figure out. This is a collection of some of the classic hits and features with my good friend Jacob Callaghan, AKA @krustrepair , Check out his channel of VW Bus stuff. We had a blast shredding around Mt. Bachelor with our friends Lucas Wachs and Eri...
Jackson Hole to the Max! Awesome day ends with blood... Max Martin
Просмотров 8 тыс.4 месяца назад
Max Martin is an absolute ripper. He's got stellar form, knows the mountain super well, and is not afraid to huck. On top of that he is a super nice guy, and a pleasure to hang with. I was fired up to link up wit him in Jackson Hole for a day on the hill back in January, chasing him around and skiing with a great posse of skiers. Day ended with a big air, and a subsequent cut on his nose that w...

While on a film shoot with @tetongravityresearch in Alaska in the beginning of March, we had the pleasure of skiing at Alyeska resort on our down days. Alyeska is a ripping ski hill with a ton of fun terrain. The north face of the mountain is around 2000' vert of consistent fall line skiing, and the rest of the mountain is rolling terrain that is feature rich, and super fun. On top of that ther...
Olympic & X Games medalists shred Utah pow, Colby Stevenson and Mac Forehand #skiing #powder #POV

Back in Feb, I made a trip to Utah and linked up with some of freeskiing's greats, X Games and Olympic medalists, Colby Stevenson, Mac Forehand, Fabian Bosch, and Joss Christensen. We blasted around Alta finding stashes of pow and fun hits all day. These guys may be aces of the air, but dang can they ski all mountain, and rip it up on a pow day! I had a blast hanging with them and have been sup...
Laps on a lunch break at Jackson Hole with Griffin Dunne. #skiing #powder #POV #ski

Griffin Dunne rolled out on his lunch break to join in for a couple of runs on my trip to Jackson Hole back in January. Griffin is a ripper and we had a couple of awesome runs between two different days. The first day was full on storm riding, and day two was a kinda sunny and with a fresh 10-12" inches of storm snow. Always love getting to rip with Griffin, and had a blast skiing Jackson Hole ...
Sunny summit day at Mt. Bachelor with Andrew Orlich, "Let's take a lap!" #skiing #powder #POV #ski
Просмотров 20 тыс.5 месяцев назад
There are only a handful of days in the winter when the conditions are good enough for the summit chair at Mt. Bachelor to open. The extreme atmospheric conditions lead to a wild amount of ice and rime that forms on the chairlift, and the mountain. The weather has to be clear, as its all above treeline, and its a big job to for patrol to do the control work necessary to be able to ski 360 off t...
Epic powder day, Andrew Pollard and John Collinson absolutely shred Snowbird & Alta. #skiing #powder

Skiing bell to bell with Andrew Pollard and John Collinson for a day is no joke. They know the terrain in Little Cottonwood Canyon better than almost anyone, after all, they both grew up skiing and living in the canyon, and that's just the type of person you want to be with on a powder day. We hit classic lines, and a plethora of jumps, cliffs and features it was awesome. Apoll Venmo -@apollard...
The best skiers ever to assemble at Alta? #skiing #powder #POV #ski
Просмотров 18 тыс.5 месяцев назад
The most stacked crew ever to assemble? Or just another day at Alta? I rolled up to Alta after booking a last min flight to Utah chasing a substantial storm. Upon arriving I linked up with a mega session beyond all proportions. Three factions of riders including local freeriders, Blake Wilson, Grant Howard, and Seamus Flanagan. Freeride world tour competitors, Andrew Pollard, Ross Tester, Kenda...

Griffin Post is a hard one to keep up with!! Especially at his home mountain of Jackson Hole. I had a blast trying though. I linked up for a couple days, the first of which we did some bonus filming with TGR in bounds. We had some sun, a storm day, and got to ski a 11" overnight storm on my final day. Griffin is such a solid skier and great guy. A true explorer, adventure, and treasure hunter. ...

One of the sickest runs on the channel.
This is the best, most unique ski channel on YT. The “Let’s take a lap” series is stoke in its PUREST form. Love this content. Never stop!
Natty flatty got me feeling nasty

I love your videos like this that doing ground tricks and riding with freeski !!
I have watched this video 10 times and it is still extremely entertaining!!
this by far my favorite episode. so much smiles and stoke! what a fantastic time of year to be watching ski videos eh mate? the ending of the random link with Jessie the patrol bud and the solo ski out. what day you had cheers mate
Having been raised in SLC and learning to ski at Alta in the early 60's. I have so many wonderful memories of both. Unless you had Look Navada bindings at the time, the tram sucked; it was after all, the early 70's. Then Soloman click in's came along and changed the game changed. By the 80's it got to the point on a powder day that it was a race to a lot of powder shots. Then you had to jump in or the person behind you was going. So some of us stsrted 3 pinned in the backcountry, but I digress. The best memories of the early 80's from Snowbird were times on the tram, during a heavy strom, usually in February. The Ski Patrol would say, "if a certain area isn't skied shortly, we will have to close it due to avalanche danger". Those areas were usually Restaurant Row and the Cirque. And it wasn't usually more than a 1 tram wait, if that.
Nice to see the camera turned in the other direction.... lest we forget you're a badass... even amongst the anke-biting youngsters :)!!! Thanks for sharing your season!
hhaha thanks much! Still threatening to do it more! Enjoy the summer!

No but you could ski from summit down to the 21 road, about 1/4 of the way down NWX and OBX then traverse to pine.
I didn’t see anybody else skiing until 2:00 in 😂
hahah, yeah we had the place to ourselves!
ohhh so glad it's you they're filming in the last episode! I love the way you take those jumps with so much amplitude. I hope next year we'll see more of you like in this last episode :) And don't forget to do that episode you wanted to do with Stan Rey I'm sure it would be a magical episode.
thanks! Much appreciate it and will try and make that happen next season for sure!

Great call! He was on my list and had intentions of getting up to whistler this yr but when I had it planed to go conditions were not so good so I pivoted. Fingers crossed Ill get a session next season.
Love it!
Thanks!!
Doesn't SOUND like corn :) That cornice air had to be one of the higher risk drops I've seen on your channel this year - given the "loud" corn conditions anyway. Thanks for another great season. Love the channel and your commentary!
hahah, was still a little icy in places but we had pretty good snow the whole day, which in the spring is hit or miss. thanks for watching and chiming in in the comments! I love the interactions here . Enjoy the summer!
That 360 off the cornice was crazy big. Wow.
For sure!! I was surprised hah

Hahah That’s awesome. Thanks for watching!! Both
Great spring day!!!
You got that right!👊👊
I had broken my ribs skiing earlier this season and your videos always kept my stoke high. Was able to get back out late season and make the most of it. Shout out Sage for another awesome season of videos.
Glad to hear you were able to get back out there! And thanks so much for tuning in!!👊👊
bless that you healed up g! next year is gonna be your year!
I sure appreciate your videos. I like how casual it all looks while you show off mad skills.
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Full Jedi
Oh Yeah! haha
Looks so freaking fun. Putting some miles on.
For sure!!
I got in a car accident last year, rear ended on the freeway in Portland 5:00 traffic. Sucked and still working at getting better. Your videos have gotten me through a season that wasn’t my favorite and didn’t ski like I wanted to. Sucks still being hurt. Thanks for the videos. I never get tired of them.
Damn, sorry to hear that and glad to provide some stoke. Much appreciate the feedback and wishing you the best on the recovery. Injury's suck, lucky skiing is something we can do for a lifetime.
I miss bachelor and like your videos lots #goducks
Thanks so much, its a blast! cheers!
The pinnacle of spring skiing right there.
For sure!
